Corporate and Management Experience

Alain Cardon began work in 1976 with Transformation Consultants and has been a communication and management consultant with a Transactional Analysis slant. Starting in 1985, he specialized in Systems Analysis applications in team building, team development and organizational development.

Since 1980, Alain Cardon has been a coach trainer at Transformation Consultants, then at Transformation Ecole (today Mozaik International), and presently within Transformance and Coach-Up institute, (Paris-based coach schools), he participates in numerous other personal coaching and team-coach training programs.

That Alain Cardon was born in Algeria and raised in Egypt, gives personal depth to his extensive international and intercultural professional experience in North America, northern Africa and Asia, as well as in the expanded European Union.

Coaching Approach

Most of Alain Cardon s work is team coaching, helping develop more collective results and performance. When he works with teams, the measurable results in cultural change towards more team ownership and empowerment are rapid and obvious (within a month of a kick-off). His teams are enthusiastic about their breakthrough changes, and the changes turn out to be sustainable.

His coaching approach is results-oriented, if not focused on breakthrough performance, as compared to a French coaching environment quite influenced by the Humanist and psychological heritage, and his style emphasizes the responsibility of the individual or collective client in the coach-client relationship.

Coach and Consultant Trainer

Alain Cardon s executive and team coach practice is international and often in English (CEE, Middle East, Eastern Europe, Latin and North, Africa and Asia). In these regions, his role is to initiate and sometimes pilot strategic organization development activities that are often relayed by local or internal coaches and consultants. He participates as well in numerous other personal coaching and team-coach training programs.

Other Activities

Alain Cardon is the author of numerous books (12+), all first published at the Editions d'Organisation (Paris). Some of his works have been translated into Italian, Spanish and Romanian. He has also written articles published in daily papers (LESECHOS) and periodicals in France, the United States, Italy and Romania.

Since 1983, Alain Cardon has been speaker and keynote speaker for the European Transactional Analysis Association, the International Coach Federation (at Sitges, Spain), for the World Trade Center (Bucarest), and for numerous corporations.

Alain Cardon is presently the managing director of Métasystème France.
