Finding Your Mission in Life

Finding one’s mission is about finding what makes each person unique; what is the core motivation behind a persons actions; what makes us feel bliss in some situations and stress in others. When one is operating form from/through one’s life mission the work goes smoothly, creativity flows. Our mission is ours alone. The skill grouping we bring (0ur life skills) that fit this mission is subsequently unique to each individual.

So, you may ask, why is this important to motivation and management development? There are several reasons. From an employee perspective, when awareness is held to one’s life mission, the motivational factors to work and their special skills grouping, one can find work that is the most suitable. A person can work in environments that will generate enthusiasm and where they will perform at their best. By being aware of these factors, it is even possible to modify many jobs to meet these needs.

From a management development stand point, we need to become aware of our own filters, the way we view the world, what motivates us as managers, what is our core mission in life and what are our special skills and strengths. We also need to become aware of our own uniqueness. This workshop will help you define your core mission in life so you can make choices that are in line with who you are.

The Goals are to:

become aligned with one’s life purpose

develop an awareness of individual mission; motivational factors and their life skills

enable motivation in its richest sense

raise the awareness of what is needed to feel a sense of accomplishment

support the personal development of individuals.

be highly focused and rooted in one’s center.

Time: One Day
Group Size: between 5 - 25
Dates: This is offered as part of a coaching program. No public workshops are scheduled at this time but we will bring the program in-house for a set fee.
